Ian Lundberg will join the Information Science faculty in July 2022. His research develops statistical and machine learning methods to answer questions about inequality in America. Substantively, his interests focus on inequality, poverty, and economic mobility. Methodologically, Ian's work answers these questions by developing tools at the intersection of computational social science and causal inference. Ian received a PhD in sociology and social policy from Princeton University. For the most recent information on Ian's work, see his webpage.
