Biography

Xiao has been a PhD student since 2014 working with Mor Naaman at Cornell Tech, based in New York City. Xiao's research focuses on understanding self-disclosure, trust, identity and reputation using multidisciplinary methods. Xiao has a BS degree in Microelectronics from Peking University before coming to Cornell. Xiao was recently named a Facebook fellowship finalist, which was designed to recognize and support the most talented computer science and engineering doctoral students from universities around the world.
