Biography

Hane Aung is a research associate within the People Aware Computing group. The crux of his research is in the development of intelligent systems for behavioral understanding from movement.  Specific applications include chronic pain rehabilitation, interpretation of affective states and mental health. Dr Aung is also a visiting lecturer at the Human Computer Interaction group at University College London (UCLIC) and holds BEng degree in Computer Electronics and Robotics and a PhD in Medical Imaging and Neural Networks from the University of Liverpool.  In keeping with his interest in movement Hane is also an enthusiastic dancer.
