Biography

I am a postdoctoral researcher working with professors Thorsten Joachims and Arpita Ghosh.

Before joining Cornell, I was a predoctoral and later postdoctoral scholar at the Max Planck Institute for human development in Berlin. I have also co-founded the Athens Behavioral Economics and Experimental Social Sciences laboratory (ABEESS).

I would probably define myself as a decision scientist. I have a formal background in Economics and Cognitive Psychology and I am self-taught in Machine Learning, Computational Social Science and a bunch of other disciplines.

In my research, I develop mathematical and computational models of individual and aggregate level behavior and I use experiments and large-scale simulations to assess their prescriptive and descriptive value.

When I do not rush with scientific work, I make documentary films, shoot photo-series and harvest beehives and olive trees. Here you can find a recent Curriculum Vitae. For information on research impact see my google scholar page.
