Professor Francois Guimbretiere and co-authors receive Best Paper at UIST 2014

Congratulations to InfoSci Professor François Guimbretière and his co-authors, who received at Best Paper Award at UIST 2014 (User Interface Software and Technology Symposium) for their paper, "Sensing Techniques for Tablet+Stylus Interaction." The complete author list includes: Ken Hinckley, Michel Pahud, Hrvoje Benko, Pourang Irani, Marcel Gavriliu, François Guimbretière, Xiang 'Anthony' Chen, Fabrice Matulic, William Buxton, and Andrew Wilson. The UIST Symposium took place Honolulu, Hawaii on October 5-8, 2014.

Professor Guimbretière mentioned that Daniela Retelny, our IS alum who is now at Stanford, also received a Best Paper Award at UIST'14 for "Expert Crowdsourcing with Flash Teams."
