Arpita Ghosh receives Yahoo! FREP Award

Congrats to Arpita Ghosh who was chosen to receive a Yahoo! Faculty and Research Engagement Program (FREP) Award. Yahoo!'s press release explains, "This academic outreach program is designed to produce the highest quality scientific collaborations and outcomes by engaging with faculty and students conducting research in areas of mutual interest. The FREP funds help academics across the globe collaborate with Yahoo! research scientists on new, exciting internet research studies and experiments." In addition to research funds, recipients also have the opportunity to collaborate with Yahoo! Scientists and to visit Yahoo! Labs. Dr. Ghosh was one of 24 faculty members from around the world, chosen for the award. 

This award is part of Yahoo! Labs committment to collaborating and supporting faculty working on cutting edge research related to Web Science.
