Biography

Fernando Delgado joined Cornell University in 2017 as a PhD student in the Department of Information Science. His research focuses on the adoption of AI technologies and their impact on organizational design, training, and career development in traditionally high-skilled work. His research also includes analysis and design of possible models for governance and regulation of AI technologies.

Prior to joining Cornell, Fernando served as Principal Consultant at H5, a pioneering legal technology and AI firm. He earned his B.A. with honors in French and M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, M.S. in Information Systems from DePaul University, and M.S. in Organizational Change Management from The New School.

He is advised by Karen Levy and Solon Barocas.
