Note: All courses used toward the ISST major must be taken for a letter grade. No grades below a C- may be counted toward the major.
Overview of Major Requirements
- Students are required to complete core courses from three areas: probability, statistics, and optimization; information systems, and economic, organizational, and social context.
- As majors in ISST, students will have to satisfy a sequence of required mathematics courses.
- Once Core course requirement have been met, students then complete the major by specializing in either the Management Science option or the Information Science option (7 advanced courses); and by taking 2 major-approved courses.
