Job Description:

Kate coordinates professional development programming for the MPS program. Her responsibilities include one-on-one advising, career development workshops, and maintaining alumni and industry connections. She is also the instructor for INFO 5905. Kate’s role is a part-time, academic-year appointment. She is on leave annually from mid-June to mid-August.

Background:

Prior to her current role, Kate was the internship coordinator for the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning and an admissions reader for the College of Engineering. Before coming to Cornell, she served as the U.S. Director for the Honduras-based non-profit organization, Amigos de Jesus. She received her undergraduate degree from Villanova University and is currently working on an M.Ed through Rutgers University. Outside of the office Kate enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Matt, and four children.
