Class 27: Client Presentation Preparation
- Project Presentation Pitch + Demo
- Studio
Last Class: Project Presentation Pitch + Demos
Motivation: You will often need to present your work briefly to others, whether it be to a client, a manager, or a team.
Each team will be given 1 - 2 minutes to present their project as a pitch, including a demo of their app prototype.
Activity: Presentation + Demo Planning
Complete the handout.
Recall that a task says what the user wants to do, not how to do it. A task scenario is a task + persona + context.
Example:
App: GPS aware app that helps first responders contact the right people at the location of an emergency.
Jamie is a first responder (persona) who just arrived to an emergency. There is a car stuck on the railroad tracks (context). Jamie wants to immediately identify the railroad company, contact them to share the location of the emergency, and request that they stop any trains (task).
