Infrastructure Studies investigates technology's place in culture, evaluating how we use and consider evolving technology. Specifically, scholars in this research area examine how social media police the public discourse on their platforms, rethink the assumptions underlying technologies, and explore how people organize, fight, and work together on projects in which technology plays a central role.
