Ensuring equity in the digital age.

As algorithms increasingly drive critical decisions in our lives — from loan approvals to criminal justice — researchers are examining how these systems may perpetuate or amplify social biases. Scholars investigate the hidden prejudices in automated decision-making systems, studying everything from financial algorithms to consumer rating platforms. This research aims to uncover potential discrimination in technology while developing more equitable computing systems that serve all populations fairly.
