Late Work & Deadline Extensions

Try your best to submit assignments on time. But don't panic if you need to submit an assignment late. You may submit an assignment late without penalty by using the provided slip day accommodations. Otherwise, in the interest of fairness to all students, late work is not accepted and will receive 0 credit.

Timely feedback and grading of your submission is not guaranteed if you submit using any form of deadline extension accommodation. Your grade/feedback may be delayed up to 2 weeks. Future milestones are due as assigned regardless of whether you have received your previous milestone's feedback.

Deadline Extensions

If using your slip days does not provide you with sufficient access to the course, let us know by requesting additional accommodations 2 business days in-advance of the deadline. Email info4340@cornell.edu and we will work with you to develop reasonable accommodations (i.e. a 24 or 48 hour extension). Please do not reveal personal information in your request. We respect your privacy as your future employers are also required to do.

As per university policy, accommodations are not retroactive (cannot be granted after the deadline has passed). Lastly, we are unable to provide accommodations for too much work in other classes, extracurricular activities, job interviews, or because ChatGPT misled you.
