Shuo Feng is an interdisciplinary design technology researcher. As a design technologist and researcher, he is particularly interested in HCI issues in the design process, focusing on providing a more intuitive and instructive interaction between designers and computational tools.

Cristiana Firullo is a PhD student in Information Science, with a primary research focus on examining the intricate interplay between social and policy dynamics within the realm of Digital Markets and Online Platforms. She is interested in online user behavior, particularly in the context of purchase decisions and privacy choices within the domains of e-commerce and social media. Through her research, Cristiana aims to shed light on whether digital environments allow for the discovery of decision-making processes with the ultimate goal of improving antitrust and consumer protection policies. Cristiana holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) where she specialized in Industrial Organization and Behavioral Economics. Previously, Cristiana worked for Oxera Consulting LLP in Oxford (UK) where she was part of the Competition Economics center of excellence, advising digital clients in commercial disputes and antitrust cases in EU countries. Cristiana has also research experience at the Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economic Research (IGIER) at Bocconi University, where has worked on microeconomic models applied to digital platforms, and privacy-decision models applied to search engine markets.

Jenny Fu works in the Robots in Groups Lab. Her research focuses on designing and evaluating the impact of AI-mediated communication tools on people's emotional and social well-being. Prior to Cornell, she received her undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science from Brown University.

Jadon Geathers is an Information Science Ph.D. student working in the Future of Learning Lab with Rene Kizilcec. His research focuses on creating educational technologies that streamline learning and teaching processes while fostering inclusive, engaging, and equitable learning environments. Prior to attending Cornell, Jadon received his bachelor's degree in mathematics and master's degree in computer science with an artificial intelligence specialization from Stanford University.

Tan Gemicioglu is a PhD student in Information Science advised by Dr. Tanzeem Choudhury and Dr. Cheng Zhang. Their research combines physiological sensing with passive health interventions to investigate how wearable technology can help make healthcare effortless. Prior to Cornell, Tan did their undergraduate in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, where they studied subtle interaction techniques for wearables and brain-computer interfaces.

Alexandra Gonzalez (she/her/hers) is pursuing her Ph.D. in the Information Science department at Cornell University. Her academic background includes a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems from Stockton University. Alexandra's research focuses on the intersectionality of cybersecurity, public policy, and children's online safety. Her previous research includes projects addressing critical issues such as sextortion, malware, and IOT device security. In addition to her academic pursuits, Alexandra brings practical experience as an Information Security Analyst and has also served as an Adjunct Professor.

Jennah Gosciak is a PhD student in Information Science focusing on computational and statistical methods with public policy and urban planning applications. Prior to joining Cornell, she received an undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Urban Studies from Brown University and a Master's degree in Urban Planning from New York University.

Areas of Interest: Data Science for Social Good, Causal Inference, Cities, Algorithmic Fairness

Joshua Greenberg's research addresses normative ethics, law, and policy-making at the intersection of armed conflict and emerging technology. Prior to joining the Department of Information Science, Joshua served as an armor officer in the United States Army. He holds a master's degree in International Relations from King's College London, and a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from The University of Michigan. 
 

Sharon is a fourth year PhD student in Information Science co-advised by Shiri Azenkot and Aditya Vashistha. Her work is at the intersection of accessibility, human-computer interactions, and digital safety. Prior to Cornell, she received a bachelor’s in Human Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington and spent a year on a research team at AT&T.
