Natalie Bazarova examines social-psychological and communication processes in social media and mobile interactions, with a particular interest in disclosure and privacy of personal information, wellbeing and mental health, personal relationships and family communication. At Cornell, she is the director of the Social Media Lab hosted by the Department of Communication. Her research has been funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, United States Department of Agriculture, Cornell Institute for the Social Sciences, and Cornell’s Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research. Natalie enjoys interdisciplinary collaborations, and welcomes collaborators and students from different disciplines.
