Lana is a postdoctoral researcher and 2021 Computing Innovation Fellow at Cornell Tech where she is jointly supervised by Professor Nicola Dell and Professor Tom Ristenpart. Her postdoctoral work focuses on exploring strategies to expand trauma-informed interventions of tech abuse in various contexts, particularly in expanding our capacity as a community to respond directly to survivors and victims of tech abuse. She also aids in managing the volunteer staff and day-to-day operations of the Clinic to End Tech Abuse. She received her PhD in Computer Science, focusing on databases, programming languages, and visualization systems from UCLA in 2021 and her BA in Computer Science from Columbia University in 2015.
