Sharon is a first-year PhD student interested in accessibility, child-computer interaction, and health. She is particularly passionate about health equity of all abilities and motivated in advocating for underrepresented populations in technology, including people with disabilities and children. Recently, she was awarded the 2020 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Prior to Cornell, she received her bachelor’s degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) at the University of Washington and worked at the AT&T Experience Design Studio on the research team.
