Info Sci’s Paul Ginsparg gave the keynote talk at this week's ASAPbio Accelerating Science and Publication in Biology] interactive event on preprints in biology.
Ginsparg, who founded the widely used pre-print repository arXiv, presented “The Rise of Preprints in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Sciences” on February 16.
ASAPbio is an event bringing together scientists and other stakeholders to discuss the current publication system for research papers and what role pre-prints may play within the biology community.
