Each year, students in François Guimbretière's Rapid Prototyping and Physical Computing class lug their final projects down to Ithaca's Sciencenter for an afternoon of demos for local families and young, budding scientists. On May 14, spring-semester students made their annual, year-end trip, bringing with them a dozen various prototypes ranging from robotic drawing machines and a 3D version of the classic videogame, Snake, to an automated egg-maker and a drink-maker built around facial recognition software.
