Google just announced another round of its Faculty Research Awards, and five Cornell CIS faculty were awarded grants to support their work in various areas across computer science.

Cristian Danescu-Niculescu-Mizil and Yoav Artzi both took home awards in the Natural Language Processing category; Nicola Dell and Thomas Ristenpart were recognized in the Privacy category, while Deborah Estrin picked up an award in the Other category.

It’s important to note that the above CIS’ers were recognized out of a proposal pool that numbered above 1,000. Congrats to these awesome faculty members!
